How Trailer Trash Works:

Our depots are located all over Melbourne, which means we can get a skip bin to you quickly and efficiently – because we are nearby. And as we deliver our trailer mounted skip bins without the need for expensive-to-run trucks, we can pass on our efficiency in the form of lower prices. That’s why you will struggle to find a better price for a skip bin in Melbourne.

Our skip bins are made for general waste, which means anything except large quantities of heavy waste such as concrete, dirt, bricks, and rubble. And we don’t take hazardous waste such as asbestos or synthetic chemicals.

As our skip bins are mounted on trailers they have load limits, and heavy demolition waste overloads them, making them unsafe to tow or move.

Responsible Disposal:

The safe handling and management of waste as one of our primary responsibilities. All of our skip bins have lids, which seals the waste against dispersal from wind or rain, and stops animal (or human!) interference. Once enclosed within a Trailer Trash skip bin, waste doesn’t enter watercourses find itself blown into sensitive environments.

Upon collection, we manage the chain of custody between return to our depots and eventual disposal or recycling.

All waste collected by Trailer Trash is transported to EPA licensed disposal facilities. These facilities are accredited by government and the Environmental Protection Agency to dispose of waste according to approved guidelines.

Where possible, waste is sorted and recycled. Waste that cannot be recovered is disposed of at regulated landfill sites.

With this in mind the Trailer Trash business model was designed to minimise the energy used in the provision of skip bins.

By containing our waste we can locate our depots closer to our customers and therefore our delivery distances are shorter. And as we tow our bins using conventional cars and utes, we use much less fuel than the trucks traditionally used to haul skip bins.

We use less fuel because we make shorter trips, with vehicles that are more fuel-efficient. As a result we produce minimize greenhouse gas pollution.

We have a creative solution: we use less energy to do the same job. As a result our bins cost you less, and cost the earth less as well.
